Lonely Bankers

A series of 22 self-portraits made in collaboration with Conjure, a text-to-image A.I.. The A.I. created these images in response to the prompt: "A lonely banker drew a self-portrait using only black ink pens." Conjure was retired when other A.I.s surpassed its capabilities. These vintage A.I.-generated images are formed from the ghosts of deprecated technology, made relevant again in the context of each new generation of A.I. improvements.
